    Just wanted to share some information to all my Optus Australia BlackBerry users. I have confirmed by taking to both Optus and BlackBerry by phone that BlackBerry has not released the update to carriers in Australia at this stage but BlackBerry assured me that it was coming soon

    ha ha .... "coming soon" ..... relative to what ?... as in .... I am going to eat soon, or ..... soon it will be Christmas?

    I wouldn't hold my breath. Why does it take forever to release software in Australia. We were one of the LAST countries in the world to receive that update. If past form can be used as a yardstick expect it in 2 to three months AFTER Optus and Vodafone .

    Agreed. Optus are most unhelpful in the purchase of a passport. I can only imagine their enthusiasm for release of an update....

    I can't help but wonder what has happened with BlackBerry in Australia after nearly 15 years of buying my BlackBerry on a plan through Optus I am afraid the days of Optus and BlackBerry appear over. What a damn shame. Keep in mind that I have strongly voiced my opinion with my account manager!!!!!!!!

    I think it at just be for Optus though. I've got my update last week. I'm on Vodafone.

    My wife and I are both on Optus and both have Z30s. For some unknown reason we both got the update two weeks ago.

    We live in the Gold Coast. If they released it by mistake I must have just got lucky. Obviously they have it ready though.

    It's definitely worth upgrading when you can!

    No issues at all. It's running perfectly. Even stranger is that my wife's phone had the update pushed to it. On mine I checked for updates and then installed.
