    Since blackberry is hardly selling phones why not use android for the consumer and bb10 for corporate and government use???

    If they used Stock Android.... they couldn't compete.

    If they tried to build a custom version of Android, like Amazon did for the Kindle.... it would take too long at this point.

    And it would just be more confusing as BBOS and BB10 aren't confusing enough as it is.


    They are trying to give BB10 more access to the Android ecosystem... just not sure what legal and licensing issues they are facing. But ultimately I think that is where we are heading.

    Because there a already a bunch of Android makers that aren't profitable or in worse shape than BBRY is. Don't confuse Samsung's profits with Android as a whole. Look at HTC. It has one of the hottest and highest rated Android phones and they are struggling.
