Another reason why I think people buy more apps on Bb10 is because of carrier billing, great option instead PayPal and Google wallet or whatever. I never bought apps on Android because you can easily torrent most of them.

I have always bought the paid version of most the major apps I used on IOS and Android, I found out not only did they not have the adds popping up, but they also had features that where not available in the unpaid version. Last but not least, I feel the developers put allot of effort and resources into creating these apps, so the least I can do is support their efforts.
