    3 hours from empty to full using the supplied charger, does not sound very long to me...
    Having said that, it charges linearly except for the last 10% or so where it tapers off, so it gets to 90% and then starts filling slowly.

    Even when you reach 0% the battery is not completely drained. It just reached the minimum specified capacity.

    I don't know if I would want to do that. It's a lithium battery. You do however have a valid point but everyone has their own usages and the battery conditions on that type of use. I think people need to experiment and see what gives them the best battery life.
