    12:23 am, out cold in bed. Z in bedside mode, on charge. I had it sideways against my lamp so I could see the clock. I awoke to a static,interference noise with the home screen on pretty bright. I hit the lock button, and it happened again about a minute later, but this time with no noise, just the screen lighting up.
    The phone is in the same spot that every phone I have owned has lived overnight.
    It did appear that the z rebooted, because all the tiles that I left open were gone in the morning. I thi k I just had battery lover and the browser open when I went to bed.

    I did make the mistake of upgrading battery lover, now I vet the typical added feature that's not there unless you pay for it

    Well I am no phone technitian. But what you describe does (a) not sound normal nor have I (b) ever experienced it nor have I (c) seen any other reports about it. In my book that qualifies as a reason to consider returning it and getting an exchange device.

    Of course, it might have to do with this battery lover app. You could uninstall it and see if it happes again.
