So I just copy my contacts to the sim card, but it say some contact info will not be copied

I ended up having 12 out of 52 contacts in sim card only , help!!

Copying contacts to the SIM is usually not a good idea. As you can see, it's unreliable. You should get a contact backup app from BBerry World which allow you to back up to your SD card or even your computer.

I would sync contacts with either Gmail or Hotmail and forget about paying for an application to do it. Alternatively if either of those is not desired there is the firechest backup, free i belive, and it backs up your data to the cloud

I have all my contacts linked with Facebook, so I think I can't import those
... then what is the point linking my contacts with Facebook anyway?

The SIM card contact can only hold a name and a phone number. That's it.

Contacts on SIM cards is a leftover of the dumb phone days. What did they need? A name and a number.

Multiple numbers (home, work, cell), email addresses, physical work and home addresses, Facebook, Twitter, Skype info... all mean nothing to SIM contacts.

I have some that won't copy at all and it has nothing to do with FB,Twitter, Skype etc. Some are just a name and number. Who knows what's going on?!?

Read the post I made right before yours.

SIM cards can't save anymore than a name and associated number per contact. That's all you get.

It's the reason saving to the SIM is not a good idea these days.

What I meant by FB and Twitter etc. not making a difference is, even though the contact may have that information it should still copy the contact name,number to the sim card. But for some reason, even this basic information doesn't get transferred.
