the phone starts but i cant access anything on the phone. nor the application opens or the hub. it just keeps saying preparing blackberry hub and then nothing happens. i tried re-installing my software but again the blackberry link is unable to connect to my device. it keeps saying " unable to communicate with the device ".
i have re started my phone like a million times and exhausted all my options but still the same thing happens.

please help. or should i just throw the phone in the dustbin ?!

Throwing it in the dust bin is one option but do you really think that will be necessary?

You might try searching for "unable to communicate with device". When I did I came up with these solutions you might try.

If all else fails you can always use one of the auto-loaders for your device and restore your contacts from a previous backup.

Autoloader is the way to go. Close link cable up to your pc and run an autoloader. It will erase everything and load the operating system.
