The big box stores don't have good deals on new (non-refurbished) units in Canada. Attempt ebay which has a large number of unlocked devices available at reasonable prices. Best price I recently saw online or CV was 280$ CDN.

Craigslist is usually better than ebay in Canada. Maybe not in Alberta, but you're a little weird over there haha

Ebay is also still a great choice, I'd look at picking them up for $250 -$275 which is a smoking good deal.

The employees get a smoking hot deal here in Waterloo and just pump them out on Kijiji I think they pay 200 for sealed in box unlocked. Like I said I got 2 at 280 and for 230. I was skeptical but the box was sealed and it was unlocked so it wouldn't be stolen or anything as they would be locked.
