The title says it all.... is there a way to access the temp folder for browser data like u can on a PC?

I don't know but you can try searching around the various nooks and crannies using a file manager called Ghost Commander (bb world). It shows more of the hidden folders. But some stuff might just be very well hidden and don't tamper too much if you see stuff in there you don't understand.
