    whats the latest version you have in India? It should get there soon enough. If you are in desperate need.You can use via a vpn to download it straight into your phone and be among the first in India withe the new version :P

    Latest is 10.3.1.1779 and please clear what r you saying about vpn

    Try asking again during Christmas. Maybe your carrier will have pushed if to you by then.

    If not, try spend about 30mins & using a leak, you'd have the latest 10.3 OS

    Its not a big upgrade. Some minor improvements. I want to see if it can reduce the device battery problems. I am using stl 100-1 which has some serious battery issues.

    If its a calibration issue then its not a OS problem its a hardware problem. I verified via BlackBerry Head technician in Ottawa and he did confirmed that its a hardware issue which cannot be rectified. You,may find some temporary fixes in this forum, good luck with that..
    So yes Upgrading to your latest OS won't solve the issue.
