Call me late on technology or whatever you might call it, but I only started using Whatsapp on the Z10... but I am finding something really annoying, and wondering if it only happens to me, on BlackBerrys, Z10s, or all devices?

Whatsapp will recognize some phone numbers, and not others... for example, 4 friends have Whatsapp, in my contact list, their phone numbers are added in the following manner:

1.) +1 565 543 5455
2.) 9476547677
3.) 657 654 7543
4.) 1 345 543 5677

And Whatsapp will only recognize 1 and 4... but I later realize that I have other numbers stored in those same patterns and it will recognize them... it almost feels like Whatsapp randomly picks which numbers to add to your "favs"... There are some people who message me on Whatsapp and it appears as an unknown number simply because in my contact list, that contact has or doesn't have a 1 before the number...

I'm not sure if u guys get what I'm trying to explain here, or if I'm alone in this issue... does that happen to you too?

Try uninstalling and re installing.. fixed the issue for me
