If it's red and the battery is almost dead, it means:



You're probably concerned there might be something wrong with the battery or the charger, but it just means that the battery needs recharging (<5%)

If it appeared after plugging into car...it means that the power source isn't strong enough to charge the battery.

Yeah. Power source makes sense because it shows 3/4 charged. Now it makes sense that it didn?t charge to full capacity the other day even though it was in the car for 4 hours.

The playbook shows the same thing when it can't charge, except it actually has space to explicitly state it.
I think this happened for me to when it was connected to the usb, i remember something came up on the screen like incompatible storage too.

It means insufficient amps to charge the battery. I get this if I use my pioneer's USB port as it is really an input for a stick or iPod.

I bought the Z10 car charger and I don't have any problems.
