    More seriously, sometimes Blackberry claims a security wipe is the same as a factory reset, sometimes they don't.

    With the legacy devices, there was a "Reset to factory" or "Reset to factory defaults" command that can be executed via an enterprise management console or the old Desktop Manager utility.

    I thought I saw a "factory reset" option in BlackBerry Link... but, I could be having faulty memory.

    Maybe factory reset does not clear the internal sd card. I've never used either of them so I don't know.
