I went to a local radioshack and purchased some Samsung Tectile NFC Tags. All I get is the tag is blank or not recognized I noticed the same one in the crackberry store so thought they would work but unfortunately I guess they don't. Does anyone know of any US stores that carry compatible NFC tags? Thanks in advance.

Make sure to get NTAG203 type RFID. I would just buy them online. I used zipnfc.com, even though they are out of the US. Shipping was still pretty cheap since the tags weight nearly nothing.

Besides using the NTAG203, you want to make sure you get the right kind of tag. For instance, many tags will not work on a metal surface. I like the keyfobs. You can hang them anywhere and they are virtually indestructible.

I'm using the app called Smart Tags from appworld. It is free. The Blackberry NFC works great.

The deal with NTAG203 is they not only work on blackberry, but also the most number of phones. Depending on your task, you will program the tag from your Z10, but you might want someone to read it from a S4 or whatever. [Well not an iphone since they are still behind the times!]

These are really nice if you want a weatherproof tag:

These are suitable for attaching to metal though it doesn't say so on the website.

You could also try ebay, but I found zipnfc to be competitive, plus I got help from someone who knows how the things work. I think the owner, Chris Humphries, is a one person shop, so you deal with sales, customer support and tech support all at once.

I ended up downloading MyProfilesPro to program. Just couldnt find the right tags. Thanks for the links guys I will just order some.
