Not sure the brand nor class. How does one tell the class?

Some cards would have a little number (circled) on the top right corner or at the middle of the card. That's an indication of the class!

Two Micro Center 16GB Class 10s, 4 SanDisk 8/4s, a Transcend 8/6, and several 1/2s left over from the Curve/Pearl era.

I'm using the SanDisk Ultra 64GB UHS-1. I don't think you can go much better than this. Picked it up for about $50.

Ditto on the 50 gig Dropbox, plus several gigs on Sugar Sync, Amazon Cloud, and some other spots. I'm diversified.

Mine is a SanDisk 32 gb class 2. I thought it would have performance issues but it works very well. No stuttering when scrolling thru pics or music or videos.

When I bought it almost 3 years ago, I was bummed when I found it was only class 2 when class 6 & 8 were already available but heck its still working and no problems!

Nope, it supports 64GB for sure. I have it in my phone right now, just have to reformat it once you put it in.
There's a help article on how to do so floating around on Crackberry somewhere.
