I've had my Z10 for around 3 years now, wonderful phone and for the first year and half i never wanted anything else. Nice and snappy, quick, and durable. The fact that my dad threw one out the window of his car, backed up, ran over it, then pop'd in the battery and it worked like nothing happened sold me on it(accidents happen lol). But as of late, to be frank, the phone sucks.
The battery life has gone to ****. I've bought 3 batteries (OEM) and one "long lasting" Kinps battery(2300mAh), Phone is dead by 1:30pm when it gets off the charger by 7:40am-ish. This is just stand by, i'm at school at that time so i really only use the phone to check the time a few times yet it dies pretty quick.
It's slugish. The browser crashes/ gets super slow and buggy most of time, most stock apps are pretty slow etc. All around the phone has degraded(nothing last forever, i know that). Right now i dont even have any apps that didnt come with the phone yet it's pretty bad. There are many other problems but they dont come to mind right now. The most recent one is that a car exhaust fell on it(i was working under a car) and the top part of the screen cracked along with all the touch in the upper part of the screen no longer works, so i'm at a problem right now and i'd like advice:

Get a new phone(An android or something)
Or fix this screen.
I'd like to fix this phone but to be honest its all around slow and crappy. I've tried factory reset, little adjustments here and there that i've read on here but nothing seems to work.

I'm here today to ask if anybody has any method to get this phone to anywhere near how good it was when i first got it. Stop the hang ups, sluggishness, terrible battery life etc. At this point im willing to try anything because if it doesnt work then im on to the next phone....As sad as that is since this phone has been my work horse for awhile now.

edit: I read somewhere that the phone might have battery drains from it always looking for service, so i disabled all radio stuff for 2 whole days and in those two days the battery life was still terrible. No wifi, no phone service, no bluetooth(not that i use it), no location no nada and the battery was still crap....

It could be the hardware internals are just going bad. My Z10 still works great.

If you like it so much, try and find a cheap Z10 online. You can get one in new or like new condition for a very reasonable price these days.

I would try a security wipe of the device. I had connectivity issues with my Z30 and a security wipe resolved all issues. Maybe the same would happen for your Z10 with the battery drain issue.

Just get a used Z10. My Z10 is still working well.

Go for an actual bigger battery like my 3800mah battery for the Z10; and the battery lasts for two days.

I have a Verizon Z10, had it for 3 years, last week I bought a unlocked classic, put your Z10 up and get a classic, this is the phone BB10 should have led off with me. The battery life on the Z10 has always been horrible, I got tired of battery swaps.

Go on Amazon. Replace with new body, new battery cover, carry case and any other parts for cheap. Hope it works out.
