Hi,

I'm coming back to blackberry after trying a few other cellphones (moto x, lumias etc) and decided to reactivate my z10. It is a stl 100-2 os 10.2.1.537. It has a bit of a battery issue and I've been doing some research but I'm honestly overwhelmed by the huge selection of OSs and possible bugs and issues. I was wondering if any of you fine gentlemen and ladies out there could give me some insight on what would be the best OS to update to, what would be the latest and most stable release etc. Any help is very welcome.

Why not the official 10.3.1? Good a place as any to start.
If it was me, and I hadn't used the phone in donkeys, I would wipe it first before installing.

What is the build of the official 10.3.1? Do you mean the. 2708?

How can I get that if my update here gives me the 10.2.1.3062? Sachesi? Link?

Sorry for the noob questions, but I've been away from this "BlackBerry world" for a while.

I'm on the official:
Z10STL100-2/10.3.1.2576
Software release 10.3.1.1779

You can try taking out the SIM and then checking for updates, though it may not work if you bought your device from your carrier.
Otherwise, you should be able to get an autoloader to perform the installation. Don't use them myself, but there are plenty of forum threads that describe the process.
