Hello everyone,i would like to ask what are headless apps? Since everyone is so excited about it, I have a z10.
Also should I update my bbz10 to 10.2 yet? Since the gold beta is out

Headless apps are apps that run in the background without an active frame or process on the front end of the OS.

There is an app manager in 10.2 and as Kris mentioned BlackBerry is being selective about who has access to headless capability for their apps.

As explained during the virtual Jam yesterday long running (meaning continuous) headless apps must be approved by BlackBerry. Other headless apps will be started by a trigger and will have nominally 10 seconds to do what they need to do.
