Yeah that's why I'm surprised to find out that LTE is not "True" 4G. It's more like 3G++. Haha.

    Posted via CB10
No! How could it possibly not be 4G? LTE is the fastest out there, fastest than HSPA+ which is what carriers blatantly call 4G!

When I switched from an iPhone 4 to the Z10, I just used the 2 year old sim card from the iphone. I would only get 4G and no LTE.

So I went in to get a new sim card and right away I got LTE.

It's only when I am in a meeting room in the middle of a building do I get 4G. That and going outside the city.

So according to Rogers logic, when I can't receive LTE, I can at least recieve 4G and lower.

    Interpret that anyway you want.

Because you are in an area without LTE coverage. They are supposed to be rolling out LTE in a few more places soon.

Mine just says 4G when i'm connected. It's pretty much everywhere here in Denmark. I disagree on most saying that LTE is a type of 4G, because LTE isn't actually 4G technology. There was a big case going on here about the terminology and how to actually market it. And what to call 4G when that actually launches in the future now that LTE took its place? It ended up just being 4G so people wouldn't get "confused"

Whatever G u have, we should create a thread on our fastest lte or 4g speed using speedtest.net

The carriers will most likely market LTE-A as "5G"

The confusion comes from the fact that they allowed HSPA+ to be called 4G. So now is a total mess. If you want to be sure to get LTE, ask specifically for LTE from your carrier and don't say 4G. Theorical speed of LTE can reach over 100 MB/ seconds.
