I have the Z10 and was wondering what the icon looks like when I'm connected the LTE (4G) icon looks like.

I have 3G most of the time the H icon most of the time.
I'm on the Three UK and I know it should have 4G enabled in September.

    Thanks.

Check your providers full manual. Probably a downloadable PDF.

There is/was actually 3 or 4 different version of 4G in the USA
Sprint came out with WiMax, T-Mobile & AT&T came out with HSPA & HPSA+, then Verizon came out with LTE.
    Each faster than the previous.

Verizon chose LTE, and they chose wisely and they could since they had deep pockets created by their subscribers. That icon they used was to differentiate theirs from the other 4g, to help market it as being superior. More LTE details:

Three UK won't launch 4gLTE until the end of this year.

An interesting report on UK 4g status can be found here:

As I understand it, LTE is marketed as 4G but it's actually a 3G technology. LTE Advanced and WIMAX Release 2 are 4G however.
