Besides the typical and obvious features of a smart phone (I.e. Internet, games, bbm, chat etc) what else do you use your phone for? I'm thinking of things that an average user probably wouldn't know much about or didn't know it could be done.

I can't think of much other then I'm using my phone as a baby monitor and security camera. Picked up a couple Foscam cameras and I can monitor everything around my house on my phone no matter where I am.

Just curious to see what other creative ideas people have come up with.

Hmm, I use my z10 for Remote Access to my desktop computer at home, as a training partner (when i exercise), and a financial monitor (check/pageonce)

I also use it as a baby monitor.

Other than the usual work stuff I also use

Remote desktop.
Blue tooth to my music gateway gives me a remote for my music.
kijiji
Auto trader -looking for a new car.

Can't really think of anything out of the ordinary.

I guess I'm just the typical business user.

I slap mine on my GripGo in the car. Hook it up the stereo for tunes (my library and Songza). Also use Waze (even though I have built in Nav) to see which one of my co-workers will get to work first.


Bonus with this set up is, you can use it as a dash cam.


And no I haven't tried swinging my Z10 out the car window like the infomercial.

I use it as a PlayBook replacement as the Z10 can actually run BB10 and even has a half decent selection of apps
