I love my z10 and the maps app is very good, but I drive all over my state for work and nothing beats a dedicated GPS.

I also like the music app on the z10 yet still use my iPod shuffle for audiobooks as well as sometimes for podcasts. Audiobooks are simply not very good on the z10 and podcasts are still easier while driving on the ipod, though thez10 of course allows me to update at anytime.

For ebooks I use a Sony Reader. The kindle app is fine but I prerfer a dedicated eink reader for books

As for a camera, I use my z10. I never use a separate camera anymore.

I see no need for a voice recorder or alarm clock or even my playbook anymore.

So, what do you still use and what has your phone replaced?

Radio, iPod, GPS, alarm clock, kindle, digital camera, camcorder, voice recorder?

I still use my PlayBook everyday. I use the camera on the Z quite often. I use my DSLR mostly for work now and don't miss carrying it around with me everywhere, although I still take it with me from time to time. I only use my computer for work, but that has been way since I bought my PlayBook.

I should note that in the case of the GPS, there is no way a z10 could ever be as good as my dedicated GPS unless I just got a second z10 and mounted it on my dash.

The last thing I want is my gps ringing with a phone call at an inportant time.

I still use my PC's and my laptop, but not nearly as often as I used to. Seems like such an effort to fire up a full blown computer when I can do so much via my phone.

I use my PlayBook often but not as much since the Bridge functions are a lot fewer than on OS7.

I also still use my iPod touch to play Real Racing 3 and Words with Friends and Candy Crush, and to play music.

I still use my PlayBook daily, tho not as much since I got my Z10. I like the large screen as a e-reader and for games, sometimes a little Web browsing.
I need to take the time to experiment with my PowerPoint and video presentations. I have loved Files and Folders on my PB, but have trouble swiping up and switching between apps on the Z10. So for now I still use the PB with HDMI. I suspect that will change soon.
I was pretty upset with what was missing from Bridge with BB10, but don't miss all the features any longer. In the past, I preferred the PB keyboard to that on my 9850, but now am totally in love with the KB on the Z10. I know the bigger screen is prefered by a lot of people. Remote control is much improved in BB10. Because I am on Verizon, I am waiting for 10.1 with USB sync to Outlook. So I really miss seeing my device calendar and contacts.
So it is a mixed bag, and one that will be changing fairly soon as updates roll out. I thing the Z10 is going to keep taking o er and more.

My Z10 just replaced my last smartphone, the HTC Inspire. I don't trust any smartphone to give me directions to a place. I'm supposed to get a GPS but haven't needed to yet.

I am not sure what toy are after - a phone won't ever replace a coffee machine or kettle for example.

So I guess your question is which device that can be replaced by a smartphone has not been replaced by your Z10?

Well, i still use my DSLR when I want photographs and i still carry my dedicated MP3 player - however when I got the Bold 9900 (predecessor to my Z10) it replaced my laptop in my daily luggage (not needed with a fixed PC at university and a smartphone).

I suppose in the context of what has not been replaced, my MP3 player is the most obvious choice - modern phones have reasonable to good DACS, yet I still prefer to carry a dedicated device.

There is still no native Instagram so I still use my iPhone for that. Also, there is an app for the iPhone that I use for another group of forums that is exclusive to the iPhone so I use it for that.
Lastly, banking apps. No Bank of America, no BB&T, no Wells Fargo and no credit union app. I use my iPhone for those.
Aside from these apps, I use my Z10 for everything else.
