    I have a triangle shaped charger because it's from U.A.E

    RIM part number: HDW-29714-001
    Model number: RM0101 7216
    Input: 100-240V - 150mA 50-60Hz
    Output: 5V = 750mA

    It's my mom's charger and she has a blackberry bold 9790 and I just borrow it from her so that I can charge my phone.

    Is it safe to use it for my Z10?

    Get the playbook blade charger. They output at 1.8A and is safe for most electronics including the z10.

    They sell on amazon for about $4-5 each depending on how many you buy at one time and they're the best chargers out there.

    Yes, that sounds fine. I have two Z10s, both with stock chargers. One that I bought when they were first into'd in USA is 5V - 750mA. One I bought from BBerry about two months ago is 5V - 850mA. Both are cube shaped.

    Just stay away from 3rd party chargers as you never know what you're really getting.

    As noted in Post 4, the Blackberry Playbook charger is safe and charges quite a bit faster. Actually, BB sells it as an enhanced or premier charger for their phones.

    I may be wrong but as AFAIK blackberry chargers can be used on any blackberry phones. No?

    That's probably right if the charger is for their newer phones using micro-usb plugs (is the Passport different or have they just eliminated the hdmi port?)
