I still can't find a proper thread which depicts the difference between .1055 and1925. Probably because the search function on CB10 doesn't work so well and every other unrelated thread comes up first. All I have read the few weeks is if I have 1055 I should wait for the official release of 1925. Is this the case?

Is there anything worth upgrading for?

    I had a few bugs with 1055.
For example, if I'm driving with my phone connected in bluetooth and using both Music app and BlackBerry Maps.

With 1925 it works smoothly : maps stop the music to indicate directions and the music goes back up load again after.

In 1055, if I did the same, the music would only play one song and stop while running Maps.

I have to say that Maps is really good for a phone satnav. I use it all the time. And it uses much less data than Ware for example (good to have the stock statistic software to check apps!)

Also, statistics of phone and battery use was not as good as 1925. (see picture below from 1925).

Battery looks much better on 1925.

On the picture, you should understand that during working hours I phone, SMS, BBM, browse, etc so that I can stay in contact with colleagues and customers. 3G+Wifi all the time. In the morning and evening, you will notice that the battery is massively draining. That's when I'm at home and while connected on Wifi I stream radio music to my Bose bluetooth speaker. About half an hour from 6am and 3 to 4 hours in the evening from 6pm. Oh, and in the evening I was browsing news with the stock browser....

BlackBerry has made *signigicant* progress on the battery side.

Generally, the newer versions have fewer (or different?) bugs and additional features or improvements. Now, to be cautious is reasonable. Don't necessarily jump on the newest Leak. There are sufficient explorers that for the first few days or even weeks, others can find the issues/problems/bugs and warn the rest of us. Or be a leader the next time a new Leak comes out and tell us what you find.
