Have been part of an email chain this weekend related to work and noticed that a few people on the list when they send a message the ' in isn't and other such words is converted to something like this. isn??t

That changed to two?? When I posted it. When I'd pasted it is a a with a hay over top then a capital C with an = sign overtop then a TM symbol raised up higher.

I am having the same issue. I have looking in to it a little and contacted @BlackBerryHelp to no avail.

have been looking into this and it seems that it is a common encoding issue, for example where a single right quote is used in place of an apostrophe ( � instead of ' ) the single right quote is not part of the ascii set and is normally encoded using UTF-8. But if the device or software that interprets the encoded text and misidentifies it as being encoded using ISO-8859-1 thus the device will display ’ in place of the single right quote.

Btw, this will only look correct of you view it through the web browser.

Also with the emails, I have found that if I try replying of forwarding the message that the original text we be displayed property.

In case anyone actually uses the search function to solve their problem, I though I would post that this issue is non existent once I upgrade to 10.0.10.648.

Finally my device is perfect for me.
