The names and numbers are not matching in my call log. Let me explain.

I dial person X with with no 1234 after call it shows ad person y. However the real contact information is not changed.

It's causing huge confusion as I get a call from X which I miss but record shows y and its driving me crazy.

Please help. It started 2 days ago. The only change had been updated linkedin.

Please help anybody.

I am on official 10.1.0.273. It has never happened before. But I am going crazy because of it. Have tried rebooting many times but no change in situation.

How are your contacts stored? On your phone/SIM card or via email? If your contacts configuration has changed in the original source (like in an email address) then that could be a cause.

But, since you're on a carrier-released 10.1 OS, you might be experiencing one of the many problems people have had with how BB10 handles contacts. The cpntacts/phone apps were disjointed and poorly executed contact management, though I think this was fixed on a later build.

I'm not sure though, and you may have to wait for a more knowledgeable member to come along to provide more info/assistance.

I have had similar problems where it was allocating one persons number on my contacts list to someone else and also mixing up texts. Just another in a long line of faults I'm noticing with this phone. One more being the fact that people names are duplicating o. The contacts list which I have to buy an app to fix

I've had problems where I was showing a contact with person a as the picture, person b's phone number and the name of the contact is person c. Only thing I could do was fix the contact card manually. It has happened to me twice. I'm on 2342 leaked. I have also noticed minor problems with contacts such as ring tone customization.

Some of my contacts were mysteriously linked together wrong. When i called someone who was in my contacts it would show that contact on the screen but call someone else... I found that every time I reboot my phone it links people together so go into your contacts and make sure everyone is unlinked at the bottom of their contact card.

The rest of my problems I haven't found a fix for. I don't think there are any!

I noticed there was an OS update x.x.x.418 and installed it. Hope it solved the issue. Does it fix it for anyone?
