    In the weather app I have the temp settings set to metric, so it displays temperature in Centigrade.

    All of the phones settings are set to UK/Europe.

    However, if I use BB Assistant and ask "what the weather's like?" when it opens the weather app it displays Fahrenheit and the assistant reads out the temp in F.

    Is there a setting somewhere to change this or is it a bug?

    Yep, mine did that, turns out BB Assistant follows the system Setting, go to Phone Settings-Keyboard and input-Measurement system, once you change it Assistant will show the value you wanted
