    it uses more battery as for data depends on your settings

    I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think it would only use data if you have the weather in the superbar since it updates.

    Yes that is correct. Only weather in the SuperBar uses data. It pulls a couple kb of data (very little) about once an hour.
