Guys, as per the new slashed price, a poll asks would you buy now this mobile?

Latest price cut makes the BlackBerry Z10 a great buy. Here is why | The Indian Express

Mate, you should have actually added a poll to the thread.

I would buy it, although it is actually already cheaper in South Africa; has been for some time - and it isn't a special.

I got it in the US for $299, so yes I would buy it.

I would buy it as well, but I got it for $199 from my carrier with a trade in of my old old 9800.

That's actually a fairly favorable article ... is this a popular tech site in the region?

Oh... and I don't think the OP meant to make this thread a 'poll'. The intention was probably to have us in the CB forum 'go vote' on that page. lol

Shreyas7777, do you have idea about this STR-100, STR-200, STR-300 etc different models of Z10. Which is better and which one should i prefer in India (New Delhi). I would ideally like the one which supports LTE. BTW which is available anywhere in south delhi, if you have any idea?

There is the STL 100-1, 100-2, 100-3 and I think a 100-4. The 100-1 is not LTE capable. The rest are. Get anyone but the 100-1.

Stl100-1 is the model meant to be sold in India and the BlackBerry service centers here will not repair anything other than 100-1 here in Mangalore...get the stl100-1 to be on the safer side,it does not have LTE,but even the other models of the z10 won't be able to use LTE here as India uses TD-LTE and not FD-LTE...The other versions of z10 have support for FD-LTE but not the TD-LTE,so it doesn't really make a difference.

Off contract, perhaps, but after checking the exchange rates, it's still nearly $100 more than what I paid last year at launch with a new contract here, and now it's free with a contract...

So no. Not unless I was buying it outright.

Thanks for reply Shreyas.... You made it very clear for me now that it has to be STL 100-1 for me but i checked today evening as well and Z10 has completely disappeared from the market.... it sounds crazy to me..... how come people bought so many devices all of the sudden....or is it that due to poor sales it was not available earlier as well ...(If sales have really picked up so much then BB should learn a lesson from this) ....well i will again check this weekend....BTW hows your experience ...any major thing that you noticed which was not expected ;-)
