    Default Volume controls, volume controls

Has anybody figured out what the various volume controls in various places do? Especially the "Master Volume" under Settings...System volume? It seems to have no effect on notifications, and is not related or tied into the side volume buttons setting. Also, what all do the side controls control the volume of? Its a very confusing setup to me and I can't seem to get everything the way I want it.

Master volume is the same as pressing the volume keys. Volume for video, apps, music, etc. Notifications volume is under notification settings.

Actually, changing the volume with the keys does not affect the "master volume", or vice versa. Turn one of them all the way up or down, then go check the other, and it hasn't moved. At least on my unit.

Ok, I tried that. If I move Master Volume, then click a volume button while on the same screen, they match. If I move Master Volume and leave that screen, then hit a Volume button, they don't match. In both cases, if I change volume with one of the Volume buttons, then check Master Volume, they don't match. Buggy, I guess.
