When I get a visual Voicemail I tap on the phone icon and then the VM icon. I see the VM there but when I try to listen to it it only calls the number back. I see the drop down arrow on the side but it does nothing. The only way I can listen to my visual Voicemail is through the Hub. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a setting I need to change in order to listen to the VM through the actual VM Tab and not call the number back? Thanks in advance.

I wish I could help, but I don't have VVM. Best suggestion I have is call your carrier's tech support department.

My Visual VM works fine. It's something with the phone.

I believe some carriers require you to activate VVM. Maybe?

My vem used to work flawlessly. Now, I get the same deal. It calls the number back rather than giving me the vm

Edit, just checked and found it working again.

Yes J have been doing that and it doesn't do anything. I have accepted the fact that it doesn't work and just listen to my Visual VM from the Hub.

Yes it's activated and working. I can see all the Voice mails just can only listen to them from the Hub.

Reading online forums always makes me sad. I don't think anyone actually read your question, because none of them seemed to understand your issue.

I have the exact same problem that you describe. Can listen from the hub, can see the vvm from the phone app but I can't listen from the phone app

    I'm on Z10STL100-3/10.1.0.2074

If you get it working, plz pin me

When it come to functionality of the device itself I always attempt a restart.
I that doesn't work, a full battery pull.
If that doesn't work, I have to reload the OS as there may be some corrupted code or file missing.

The only thing I can think of is swiping down from the top to check the phone application settings and make sure that you did not accidentally press the button to "Deactivate Visual Voice Mail". That is the only setting I know of that would prevent the "visual" voice mail, but allow you to call it from the Hub.

Restart fixed it for me. I guess it had some internal confusion about how to render vvm since it was newly setup.

Now, if I could just get it to default to playing through the speakerphone instead of the headset.

Why BlackBerry would make that the default is silly to me. After all you are holding the phone far away while you hit the buttons

I have the same issue, no restart or reboot has worked for me. I just have to browse through the hub and check them. Maybe I'll get a decent version of 10.2 to try soon and it will be resolved.

Yeah, VVM quit working correctly for a few months ago. I've given up on it and just listen to it through the hub.
