maybe the question would be better asked if this is or will be a native app like the iOS has. Carrier dependent is and is a monthly fee in most cases and a non native app download. I have asked about this from day one. no clear answer yet

I'm fairly sure that it is in fact native. The reason I say that is because I recall seeing a screenshot somewhere of the visual voicemail settings actually being in the stock settings screen. As far as I know, third party apps can't add their settings there.

Rogers developing the vvm app. Right now my plan has the value pack add on, and since there's no vvm, it does voicemail to txt, I can't remember what it's called.

If it has it I don't know where it is. I had VVM on my plan from my iPhone 5, but the chick at TELUS said I have to remove it and go with regular VM.

In the phone app, swipe down from the top and go to the settings, you should have an option for set it up
