    Hi,

I used to use the blackberry file manager to view files of my pc over Wifi and used it for wirelessly transferring files. However, these days whenever I open my file manager it shows nothing just a blank screen. (I am able to use the file manager to view phone and sdcard files though)

    I tried the following

    1. Deleted my BlackBerry Link account from my phone and re-linking it - Didn't work
    2. Deleted my phone from BlackBerry Link and relinked it - Didn't work
    3. Did both (1) and (2) together - Didn't work.
    4. Uninstalled BlackBerry Link and tried again - Didn't work
    5. Reloaded the software and Uninstalled BlackBerry Link and tried - Didn't work

    Kindly help.

    I noticed this issue too.
Here is how I resolve mine.
I open Link on my PC and leave it on, this will trigger the device manager to detect my device and then make my pc visible on my device.
You can close Link later on but once connection is lost(probably wifi issues), you have to open Link again.
    FF22 and suhel28 like this.

My pc is visible but the files aren't. I reckon it's Wifi issue as you said.

Remote File Access (I think that's what the feature is called) has generally been a bit temperamental. I think some folks have found virus checking programs can interfere. Rebooting has helped or not. Mine has worked and just now, it would not find anything on my PC.

It worked on my desktop but it has only worked once or twice on my laptop. I have deleted everything, reinstalled everything, turned everything off(virus/firewall) but still no joy. I can connect over wifi to my phone from my laptop if I type the name of the phone into windows explorer but when I open file manager on my phone it shows the name of the laptop but it is listed as offline. I can't figure it out.

I remember reading on Crackberry that the router has to be connected to the primary network connection on the PC. Otherwise there was a workaround. Sorry, you have to find the thread. I don't remember more.

    Hi.
Happens to me the same incident since I did my upgrade to 10.3.0.1418
From that moment anymore I could access my PC via WiFi. The PC folder is in blank
