How can I view emails forwarded to me with .eml extension? My Z10 tells me "no viewer available to view attachment " never had this issue on my 9930.
Can some one please educate me on this.
    Thanks.

As far as I can tell, there is no way as of yet unless there is an app out there that can do it.

KB33887-Unable to open e-mail message received on the BlackBerry 10 smartphone as EML or MSG attachment

Did you use an app to view them?
On my previous Storm2 I could not open .eml files.

Nope, you're not the only one. This EML thing was actually the first issue I noted in this thread. http://forums.crackberry.com/general...5/#post8538540

Can you please let us know what is your actual Email system behind? Are you using Exchange or GroupWise? We are using GroupWise 2012 with Novell data Syncronyser as the "Active Sync emulator" and we can't read the EML attachments.
    Thanks

Has anyone found an app or other solution for this issue? We use GroupWise as well and cannot open the .EML file attachments (which are usually just forwarded email messages).

Outlook/Exchange will forward messages as .msg; iirc .eml is from Outlook Express/Windows Mail (free clients).

I can open .msg attachments fine, I have not tried with .eml

The .msg format is a binary file whereas .eml is/was simply an html or xml document so that is why one may work and the other does not.

this is a silly issue with a "business" phone. I had a z30, and now a passport and still am unable to open some emails because of this particular issue. The workaround i have found is if i take the email with the unobtainable extension, and forward the message to myself, something must happen as it is passed through gmail because the extension is then able to be opened.
