Videos play when minimized?
If you minimize a playing video to active frames, will it continue to play like the playbook?

Agreed. The most obvious way to demonstrate multitasking is to have video playing while you do something else. I remember playbook demo videos doing exactly that, to prove that they weren't just faking multi-tasking.
So yeah, it should work like this on BB10 - stays playing in the frame until you go back to fullscreen. - 11-30-2012, 12:14 PM #4
Unfortunately it doesn't do that on the Dev Alpha. I think it's for battery conservation. I think RIM should at least make it an option (you don't get that option like you do on the PB).

The video still plays when you are peeking, but i actually want it playing when it is in active frames. I will double check if camera app records video when in active frames (we finally got a more stable camera app for the dev alpha A when the new os drop this week; it was very unstable before).

BB10 had better be able to do this since this is one of the major selling points for me.
