    I don't think you can but I'm not sure about the latest OS or beta OS. Kalemsoft and some other third party apps can play/show subtitles.

    I'm on 10.2.1 and I get the option to enable them on the native video player.

    I have no videos with subtitles, though, so I don't really know if it works.

    I use PlayOn for my videos. It does subtitles from PC side.
