I have ordered a new unlocked Verizon Z10 for my daughter .
All networks in my country are GSM.
Will there be there any limitations in connectivity ?

    you're kidding right?
you did your homework before buy?

ok, verizon and sprint in the US use CDMA, cdma phones unless they are global can be use on GSM networks, I'm not sure how verizon handle that "capability" but I used to have a 9850 from sprint and if I put-up a sim card either from ATT or Tmobile the phone don't go far of get EDGE, so my recommendation it's try and see,

by the way, the verizon z10 look to be global phone: Networks: Global (GPRS/EDGE/GSM(850/900/1800/1900) HSPA/UMTS(900/2100)
but like you can see you don't gonna get nothing faster than EDGE either on ATT or Tmobile (obviously they do that to cover their back)

    Hi there!

No, you won't have any issues on a gsm network. Its classed as a world phone, so all the verizon version of the z10 had was a cdma2000 and LTE radio. I didn't have problems running on gsm and 3g over here in the UK.

that's not totally true, before you make a statement like that you need to know where the OP gonna use the phone, it's obvious he don't gonna get nothing faster than EDGE in the US,

I didn't realise he was in the US... as there are folk on here not from the US. Should have been an initial question.

    As above.

I'm confused where he said he was in the US? Considering he said that gsm is the only thing available in his country I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume he is NOT in the US. So he won't get LTE but he can still get HSPA+. I'm running on it right now in Japan with my Verizon phone.

I will agree he would have been better off getting a gsm version but if he got a great deal on this unlocked Verizon one then it will be just fine. Even hspa+ this phone is pretty Damn quick.

ohh, that's more clear than water, you gonna get 3G for sure, and with a little of luck 4G (no LTE before somebody come trying to correct me)

This is reassuring. I had to decide quickly on this phone (270$), and also had a lot of pressure from my daughter. I suggested her also the iPhone 5 which she turned down saying that she hates it.
It would be a nice headline : "12 year old girl chooses BlackBerry over iPhone".
