After applying Verizon's update, I am seeing a big uptick in my battery life, never mind the additional functionality the update brings.
    Kudos!

The waiting was almost worth it. (It did take way too long)

That's what I said about 10.1.0.4687...battery life, Skype, Netflix.....dang it...now I have to come up with a new complaint. I think I'll open an Instagram account so I can keep whinin' like the others!

Netflix and instagram worked on the old OS, even skype did if you side load.

I really didn't have a problem with the battery prior to the 10.1 update but now I can get almost a full 2 days out of this phone :] can't wait to see how the 10.2 update will improve on this even more

I've also noticed it has been better.
For me it took just about 2 days for the update to "settle in".
Since then, battery is better, bluetooth has better range, programs seem a bit snappier.
I was frustrated with the update delays like many others. But it was worth the wait.

Yeah I am somewhere like that as well. Comparing to a leak this is just really nice to see.

Everything is working like a charm, I didn't even have contact corruption or doubled. Battery and response are smooth. :-)

Lol, mine worked fine pre 10.1 would get 8-9 hours moderate to average use. Now post 10.1, I get 3-4 hours tops and battery temp is thru the roof (104) while charging. Good to see someone got the good end of the deal.

Maybe a backup then security wipe would help, but my first thought is did you change any of your email sync settings? Only time I ever noticed my phone getting hot is when it was processing a lot (games). I would say your processing a lot of something and its not letting up at all.

Best start harassing Verizon for the next update now... you know so it only arrives a little late :P

Battery life for me is quite good but I still ordered a 4500mah for those days I know I'm going to need it for.

My battery life doesn't seem improved either. After 7 hours off the charger, I've got less than 35%.
