Can I get a verizon z10 to work with a T-Mobile micro sim card? The fastest speed that I get is 2G. Next to the bars I get an "E."

More than likely your Verizon's z10 does not have the necessary bands to support more than 2G. Look at the following thread for more information:

People are selling Verizon Z10s as unlocked, and they are. But as pointed out work poorly on domestic GSM carriers. The unlocked GSM side was designed to work overseas. Like when traveling.

Nope I have a Verizon z10 and I only get EDGE, plus you can't get MMS message, the field to change the info is locked

Thanks for the help. Switched from q10 to I phone 5s 6 weeks ago. Can't stand it. Came by the z10 from family member. Will be getting passport at end of September.
