I had to cancel the download until I am up and running on my Wifi at home. When the lady at Best Buy was activating it yesterday, it went straight to a "software update is available" (which I thought odd considering how slow Verizon is with updates [and especially what I've been reading regarding BlackBerry updates]). As soon as I do the download, I'll be sure to post a screen shot. Incidentally, I was her first BlackBerry activation....but I could tell that she was digging the phone.

There is always a small update when you first get the phone. I doubt its 10.1, but would love for you to prove me wrong!

No.

The STL100-4 is unique to Verizon.

Like I wrote earlier, there are a couple of tiny carriers in small countries like the Dominican Republic that use at least the same LTE parameters that VZW does, but I would be surprised if they were also using CDMA for voice.

I chatted with a Verizon rep today and she told me it could be as long as an additional 30-60 days for the z10 update. They don't seem to care if it ever comes out.

Why? just install the leak. Will work better then what you currently have installed. And much better than the leak Verizon was pushing to release.

it's just BS and ridiculous that America's largest carrier has not yet released their 10.1 version.

I agree I was told earlier today that it could possibly be another 30 to 60 days as it is still in testing. I think it's ready and they purposely holding off.

They could just be skipping that version and just releasing the "midsummer update" instead. (10.1.0.4xxx)

I think I'm staying away from leaks because my phone works fine and T-Mobile is reasonably on time. I feel for those who have incompetent carriers *most people*

I tried calling multiple times and they basically said in the corporate way not to ask about update. They don't know if and or when it will be out.

I've been banging them through Facebook and tweeter. Every time they post something, I say, where's the update for bb10. If everyone starts doing this, it may passed them off but it may just make them move on that update
