    No, it is SMS. Why would you want a service like that to be exclusive to any vendor? It does show that people who take communications seriously still use BlackBerry.

    Yeah, I saw one of there constables with a Z10 a while ago. Didn't seem to like it, but he was more of a flip phone type of guy.

    I've seen more of these Z10s on the streets nowadays. Policewo/men or not. Especially the fashionista types.

    Yeah, my sister works in an RCMP office. They all complain about their phones and make fun of her for buying a Z30, even though she loves it. It would be nice if those who are forced to use them would at least be forced to use the new ones. At least they would be aware that things have changed, a lot.

    As it stands they all believe a Z30 is as bad as their freezing, rebooting OS 7 phones. This is where BlackBerry needs to seed some of those Z10's they wrote off.

    If they could have upgraded to support BB10 and continue supporting their BBOS devices they probably would have. But realistically you have to stand up a new server to support BB10 and keep the old one running until all BBOS units are replaced. For a large, geographically dispersed organization with government purchasing policies and regulations this will take time.
