The right size SIM will work on any UNLOCKED Z10. So you have two things to check here:

    • Is my phone unlocked?
    • Does my phone support the radio frequencies that AT&T uses?

I can help with the latter. Here is the frequency breakdown for all Z10 variants: More BlackBerry Z10 Device Model Differences (STL-100-X) - BerryReview

Well, i live in saudi arabia, and i got my BlackBerry stl100-1 from there. And I'll travel to usa and live there. So what i really need to know if my z10 will work in usa or not? Also, if i got a micro sim from any us carrier, will it work on stl100-1?

If it is unlocked, it will work with AT&T. My friend has one in Taiwan and uses it in the US with a sim from AT&T.

As long as it's unlocked and the carrier is compatible, then it will work.

The Z10 STL-100-1 uses these frequencies:

    • Quad Band EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) (2G)
    • Quad-Band HSPA+ 1, 2, 5/6, 8 (850/900/1900/2100 MHz) with support for 21Mbps HSPA+ (3G/H+)

So if AT&T uses the exact same friquencies, you won'y have any issues. That's what I was saying. The phone will work anywhere in the world, provided that the carrier you go for is compatible with the frequencies it supports.

For example, I could only buy the STL-100-2 if I wanted VIVO (my carrier) and LTE (as they use 2600 frequency for that). Here is the wiki for AT&T, check the frequencies: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AT%26T_Mobility

Same applies to any other US carrier you go for. Provided the device IS unlocked to begin with...
