Got tired of reading all the reviews from users who went from 10.0 to official 10.1....I want to hear from the users who went from a leaked 10.1 to the official 10.1....any improvement over the leaks? what features were new in the official O/S that you did not see in the leaked O/S's?

Furthermore, how does one go about upgrading from leaked 10.1 to official 10.1? The update has not appeared yet for me, however I think it should have.

I loaded the leak 10.1 this morning and alls well. New features, cursor, Hub and camera enhancements are fine. Have had no problems.
I'm on Bell in Canada and don't expect the official release for a week or two. Hopefully it will just download and replace my leaked version.

I went from leak to official. Leak I found choppy at times. And the volume sometimes sounded garbled. Now I have not seen the issues. Also on leak I would get multiple contacts now single contacts. Fb pics for contacts I had to delete the account then re do account and all pics for contacts sync. I had the browser and the settings go black for a second on the leak.
All seems good now. Has to do factory reload first then added my backup without all just the settings and media. Hope that helps.

choopy means lag? I also experiencing it on the leaked. Do the lag stopped on the official version and what model do you have?

I have done it (was on latest 1762 leak) and the system is definitely a little smoother overall. Less hickups/choppyness in the scrolling in apps like BlackBerry Worlds and CB10. I noticed on the leaks they had occasinal choppyness. The official release feels a little bit more optimized/responsive. Can't comment on battery life yet.

Yes the lag stopped on the official. I have the Stl100-3. I had also choppiness.

Leak to Telus official two days ago. The OS was the exact same from what I can tell. My device appears to be just the same too.

I was on 1762 leak but I notice some memory issues. I get my memory around 700 Mb left without even on our BES server. So I waited but. Instead it get worse. I also had the idea that the animation was different. After 5 days and knowing blackberry was very hard busy with memory management to make BB10 fit for PlayBook it seems 1762 was going a different way.

So I just checked the leak 1720 and original 1720 and find out that the original was bigger and could means more tuneups. I also notice the code behind. 1720.xxxxxx was different.

I go for the official and it's smoother and also have it straight on our BEST server and yester I had a average of 968 Mb and that is much better. After a day I can say it,sbeter tuned that 1762.

Today I will check the phone and let you people know it keeps that way.

Dumb question time. I'm on a choppy, laggy leaked 1762 on ATT. So if and when ATT updates it's official OS to 1720, will it show up for me as an update, notwithstanding that I'm already on a "higher" release? If so I ggggguuuessss I will hang fire and wait (unless someone finds a fix for the leak). If not, can I force another carrier's official release as an update?

Yes it does. I used the 1.1 link though and it restored perfectly.

My 1762 backup did not restore on 1720.

I went from .1762 to official .1720 and have really not noticed any difference. And my backup did not restore either, but I had an old backup from when I put in .1762 which I got my contacts back from and my media was all on my sdcard so nothing was lost.
