So, I see that an unlocked Z10 is currently going for ~$800 for use on US carriers. What does everyone think the asking price (non-contract) will be once the Z10 is released to carriers in the states??? The price will surely decrease once it becomes available......

I am only asking because I do not have an uprgrade available (for quite some time) but am seriously contemplating jumping ship from the Lumia 920 to the Z10.

It shouldn't be any more than the other high end phones off contract. Currently they are $600-650 in Canada, about the same price the 9900 was. What is/was the 9900 price in the USA?

I'm not sure how much the 9900 went for in the US...... the last BB I bought was the Torch (AT&T) and it was on-contract. I'm hoping to sell my Lumia 920 for enough to cover most of the cost of the Z10 off-contract, since I do not have an upgrade available.

It certainly can't be as high as an iPhone 5 here, that would be insane and a very bad move on Blackberry's part in my opinion. The 920 was priced at $450 to compete as Nokia knew that it would take a lot for people to switch. I hope Blackberry does the same. If not for my wallet then for the customers :P
