    Anyone came across a way of typing in a status once but then updating both Facebook and Twitter as you would using the old skool social feeds?

    For now, you can check out Polor Bear App. New! Polarbear — Post messages to multiple social networks & blogs at once. Now available for BlackBerry 10! Coming soon to Android, Windows & Mac. I'm hearing a few other solutions are in works.

    Thanks bud, 3.50 a bit rich for my blood for what it is. Hopefully something native will be along soon. I don't think it would take much engineering.

    Every social account has a dedicated email address that can be used to post to your account. Take those addresses and make a contact (for example) named Twitter. Compose a new email and select it to go to Twitter and whatever else social account you choose. Posting via email. Really that's all the Polar Bear app does.

    I liked how in the legacy BBOS we could update our bbm status and have it updated on facebook as well

    Just installed buffer I'll give it a try and on the plus side it's the first time I've used the bar code scanner so that's something else learned.
    I feel for sure posting your status to multiple accounts will definitely come with an update at some point. All the necessary software is there already it would be just a case of selecting which accounts to post to without needing too much work.
