Hello everyone,
my girlfriend just have bought BB Z10 and she couldn't find an update to 10.2.1. or any other version. Currently she is on 10.1.0.273. We have tried OTA and it says that it was latest OS version. We also tried to update via BB Link but same result.
It's carrier unlocked phone. I have bought my Q10 two weaks ago and i haven't got any problem with update to 10.2.1. We are from Slovakia.

Your carrier probably never released an update for the Z10. Just download an autoloader from the leaked OS forum.

You might as well bypass the 10.2.1 version and jump on the 10.3.0 versions as they have a more up to date android system and it runs great on both the Q10 and Z10. I have it on both of my phones.

So i can use autoloader to update my Q10 and her Z10 to 10.3. ? And is that version stable and everything working? And what about my warranty?

Warranty should be fine. I just replaced my Q10 with warranty and I used an 10.3.1 autoloader on it.

Mine on Z10/STL2 on 10.2.2.1531. This OS stable and battery are well working. May you try load10.2.2 by sacheis.

I would recommend latest 10.2 build if you want the least problems. And use an autoloader as well for even less chance of problems

Do you loaded 10.1.0.273 on PC. If not loaded on PC . may OS 10.1.0.273 is no longer in BlackBerry server.

Thank you for all your answers.
When she booted up her phone first time after buying it this update (10.1.0.273) was the only one available for her phone. So she installed it OTA. And after that no more updates available for her Z10.

Just download the latest autoloader on a windows PC as suggested. You also need to have BlackBerry Link (or just the drivers from the BlackBerry Blend).

Note:
Installing the os via an autoloader is fast (a few minutes) but it will clear your device completely.

There are two autoloaders for Z10:
1 for the STL 100-1 model (3G)
1 for STL 100-2,3,4 models (LTE)

Use the right one!

By carrier you mean T-mobile, Orange, or what? Phone was bought via internet/ e-shop. Its Z10 STL100-1 / 10.1.0.273.

Install the new 10.3.0.1418. It's an official OS, so you'll be good with it.

When I use autoloader and load 10.3. in to the phone, than BlackBerry releases official 10.3.1 update do i need to use the autoloader again? Or it will be possible to update it OTA?

(i don't know If it is written correctly. My english is bad :/)

Use auto loader is better than OTA. Autoloader is faster and broken OS is less.

Remove the sim card then enable wifi and check for updates. This should bring you up to 10.2.1. This will be the way you have to do OTA updates if your carrier does not offer BB10 updates.

If this does not work then use the autoloader method as suggested.
