    Welcome to CrackBerry! I will move you to the right section to gain traction ... do you have a screen shot of your issue? This is when you're making a call right? May be your sim is a pay as you go sim with number blocked?

    I had that probkem go to settings then security and privacy then sim, enter ur phone number, the next time u make a call ur number will appear at the top of ur screen, hope this helps

    Do you mean when you have an active call on the screen?
    Is this what you are talking about?

    If yes, you can input your number your number to change that if it bothers you.
    Go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Sim Card
    You can then input your number where it says Edit Phone Number.

    If this isn't your issue, please try take a screenshot of what you are referring to, by holding the up and down volume buttons at the same time, so that we can assist with your issue

    I also try that. Whenever I enter my normal number, or with international codes I get the following message...

    Won't allow me to enter my number....

    I think this could be sim or carrier related.
    Call your carrier ask if they can push your number to your SIM, they just may not allow it.
    You might need a new sim or at least one that isn't security locked.
    You could try doing it in flight mode?

    I'm going to assume that you both are on the most up to date OS official or otherwise

    I have the latest official 10.2 yes. Must be that. It is an old SIM that was cut for the Z10
