Hey folks. So now with the new 10.2.1 I see Device monitor has been upgraded.

    Now there are tabs Battery-CPU-Memory-Storage

Hoping this can help me track down my main batter drainer daily. Now my question is what exactly shall I be looking for or at. Sorry if this sounds like a novice question but would love to see exactly the app that's causing the most drain on my battery when my phone is not being used.

Thx in advanced folks. Btw 10.2.1 is awesome.

    Cheers

Check your cpu usage for last 12 hours. Look for which app uses the most.

What? How hard can it be... the main view is 'battery', and it gives you an exact list of how much % of the battery every app has used since your last charge.

High % = more battery consumption.

I checked mine under CPU it says that System was used most. Under the Battery Tab it indicates Display has the highest usage 121% now. I checked my display settings and nothing is turned up extremely high. What could be causing this?

Definitely your display. Reboot your phone and observe to see if it'd still high.

I've previously rebooted. It's been this way for the past 3 days ever since I installed the 1926 radio. I had the leaked 1899 radio installed and got good battery life with it. Looks like I'll just have to revert back to it.
I hope this not an indication that something is going wrong with the display on my phone though.

Mine also has display as the highest, and my brightness is and has always been the lowest available. Strange.

What is this topic I do not even...

Everything you look at on your phone 'uses' the display, so of course that is always going to be one of the highest battery users. That does not mean it is draining your battery it just means you are using your phone a lot. Putting the brightness lower just helps a little bit, it does not stop the display from using energy.
    _____

System and Display will always be high, because every app uses both in some way. Next comes PIM, which is the name for synchronization services (email, calendar, contact etc.), this one can also use a big portion of the battery.
Out of these three you can influence PIM the most, by increasing sync delay of accounts and apps.

If you think you are losing battery life at an alarming rate, you should not focus on these 3, but just look at the actual apps and how much % they use. Disable the highest of those apps if they are headless, or just not use them and try again until you find the cause.
