Hello!
I purchased new blackberry z10 2 days before.
And I have software version 10.0.10.82 installed on my z10.
And I was trying to update to update it to 10.2 from yesterday but was unable to do it.
I tried all three methods available, (on the web, ota, blackberry link)
On the OTA option, device downloads the full update but at the STEP 2(installing) it fails and gives an error- failed to update, please try again.
And when I tried updating on bb link, i got this error when download is being running at any level of percentage like it happened at 16% then 24% - "an error has occurred while downloading software for your device. please verify your internet connection or try again later, if the problem persists."
Same error occurred on the option of "On the web".
I am attaching snapshots, please help me what to do now.

Try doing a hard reset, then plug your phone in to the wall charger and doing it by ota again,

does it void warranty?
and whats the difference between autoloader software version and official software version?

Using an autoloader will in no way void your warranty. It's simply an other way of loading an OS on to your device, just like an OTA update or using BB Link to update your device. Using an autoloader is just a little more robust, it actually wipes your device, and/or copies over the OS you downloaded to your PC over to your phone.

Read the sticky threads in this forum for help, plus I will try to summon someone to walk you through the process. I have to go relieve someone at my day job right now otherwise I would offer to help you myself.
