I have a video file that I can not delete from my Z10, I have deleted other videos but for some reason I can't delete this one file. I have tried the press and hold method, the select file and delete, file manager and even hooked the Z10 to a pc. Nothing has worked to delete this file and now there is no screen shot and it will not play. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Battery pull and try again. It may just be that you're looking at a ghost.

    Quick question:
Do you know where the video came from? That is - is it one you took?

The reason I ask is that there have been other threads here about pictures people could not get rid of and IIRC they were installed by side loaded Android apps. Might be worth a search to see how they got rid of them.

You may have to reformat your SD card assuming this is where it is stored. Needless to say, back up your card before formatting. This happened to me twice and it was related to a third party app. The reformat took care of the problem.

Get the app ghost commander. If that doesn't delete it, then good luck.

Smart people like simple, why does my Z10 CrackFairie cause grief?
There are more issues I need to resolve, one at a time,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks for your suggestion CB10. I installed the Ghost Commander app (which is free download and donation supported by the way) and I was able to simply select the file and chose delete (like I tried with the BB file manager unsuccessfully) but it worked on the first try for me.

In my case it was a downloaded video which never actually worked, but I tried deleting with a bunch of other garbage I had on my flash memory (not on an SD card so even more frustrating).

I appreciate all the helpful comments!

    Thanks.

    Paul.
